Miss Renee Chartrand

Renee started dancing at the early age of 4. Her love for dance blossomed as she joined the competitive team a few years later. She trained in multiple disciplines throughout her career such as, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics and Heels.
When she started high school Renee became a Teacher’s Assistant and later became a Student Teacher before she graduated in 2015. That same year she continued her dance education at George Brown College in the Dance Performance Program. For the next 3 years she trained in Toronto along side Canada’s Ballet Jorgen and artists such as Hannah Kiel, Nicola Pantin, and Derek Sangster. Renee also trained with Toronto dance artists Danny Davalos and Chelsea Davalos as a member in their Hip-Hop and Heels company.
Renee moved back to the community a few years ago, however she frequently travels to Toronto in order to gain more knowledge and keep up with training. Her goal is to continue learning, and evolving to be the best teacher she can be for her students.
Renee’s choreography hit the competitive stage for the first time last year. She is excited to continue creating and share her passion with all of the dancers.
